Yes and No. Ford (and I assume other truck mfg do same) juggles the Tow and Haul capacity all the time based upon configurations etc. When I went to order my '11 thinking a 450 was automatically give me more haul (Tow was not what I was looking for) I found the F 350 had more haul capacity.
My truck camper pushes the edges of capacity. This year when I went to order my '15 I found the Ford chart showed the same haul capacity so the F 350 did the job for me.
That said you have to download the actual Ford data sheets to sort it out if you are close to the edge. A LOT depends upon how you configure the truck.
What do you guys do for tire rotation? I have FMPP and the dealer says they don't rotate duallys. I can see that they wouldn't want to break them down to do a real rotation but any advantage to swapping side for side?
I do side to side on the fronts only. So far the rears have not exhibited any signs of abnormal wear so they have not been touched. I've only got 11k on the truck, and am due for another front rotate. Along with the wireless air install and fixing a leaking left air bag, but it all comes in time...............................Finally done with the camper for now so I can work on the truck.
My Peterbilt work truck is the exact opposite, the fronts are always good and it cups the rears bad. I rotate the rears side to side on that every 10k, but never touch the fronts.

Well I got the bad news today, I need a new turbo, goes in on Tuesday. It's been howling for a week and a half was hoping it would go away but no. I took it to the dealer today after work, he came out and said start it up and as soon as he heard the werewolf under the hood he said turbo but just to be sure he said to give it a little throttle and he heard the werewolf again and again he said turbo, then I shut it off and as the turbo spooled down so did the werewolf and now he was positive it was the turbo. He also mentioned he has done enough of these turbos that he can do them in his sleep, and all the ones he has done have all been low mileage trucks. Thankful for my warranty.
