I am soooo sad and soooo angry that Traitors have taken over the United States...........
My Father Enlisted in the Navy 1938.........Served through WWII in the Atlantic as a Gunners Mate......after 1945, sent to school, Masters in Nuclear Physics.... Commissioned....Gunnery Officer during Korean War....Command of 3 Ships and 1 Shore station. Retired after 31 years, Navy Captain......Very proud of him.
Wow! Roy, your dad has some pretty awesome stats. I'm sure you are very proud of him. Those were always my favorite officers - the guys who started off as enlisted and worked their way up. They always seemed to remember what it was like in our shoes.
Thank you, all. I was asked to write an article for publication on D Day...I think no one else wanted the challenge. I mean what can one say that has not been said already. So I decided to do some research on my only link to D Day and that MG George S Patton that I had served under...where was his father? Then I came across the tidbit of information that he was in fact not there and my first thought was WTH. Then I discovered the plan that was put in place by "Ike" who my Dad knew quite well. My Dad went in the US Army Infantry, 1934. But by the time WWII was launched he was in the Army Air Corp as a pilot, E7 or E 8 (in those days only enlisted were pilots, Officers were Co-pilots...but WWII changed all that.
I know it's a little late but my Dad was a WWII vet also . So thanks to the " Greatest Generation " for standing up against evil so we might remain free . Also thanks to all previous and present heroes for carrying on their legacy .
Sorry it took so long for pics. The ports never sleep. Thanks for the welcomes for everyone.
Daddy's baby.
Almost went and looked out the window to make sure my truck was still there
Mine is the exact same colors in and out. Your wheels look a lot nicer than mine, have got corrosion on mine. I also dipped my F350 emblems and removed the PS ones. Other than that they are identical.
I missed a couple or 3 I was interested in because of work schedule. My better half and a few friends said it wasn't ment to be. Turns out they were right. I got a check list of changes I would like but I'm really happy with my start. Thanks again for the good words.
