By compatible I am assuming you meant can be used as a spare on both the front and rear axles. If so the answer is yes. It goes on one way for the front and inside rears and the opposite way for the outside rears.

Nice Rubicon....hope you enjoy it greatly!
Mine isnt a Rubi, but does have all Rubi running gear but it isnt a DD either!

But it is a pretty darn good trail rig, tho, especially with 5.38 gears in it!

I'm getting excited here, not to take the attention away from all the nice photos. But, my Rancho 9000 shocks are due in tomorrow. So time to get the tools sorted out, the beer cooled down and my best auto creeper out (aka: a good sized piece of cardboard).

Final cost after rebate will be, $232.85 delivered after Rancho rebate and discount coupon at RockAuto.com

JonR,

TIP set the adjustable on the lowest setting so you can move the shock up/down to install

Total job time f/r was about 1 hour. Expect it to be a bit longer if you do not have air tools. WD 40 makes on/off much easier. This is a simple driveway job, using common hand tools, air is great, but certainly not needed. I use 18mm sockets and a ¾ open/15 mm open end to hold the bolts.

My truck did not need to be jacked up, its was high enough in its OEM form to work under and easily get at the shocks and mounts.

I cannot recommend this upgrade enough and as you can see adjusting the shocks is a 1 min job by leaning in and twisting a ****. I have them set on 5 in front and 3 in rear starting out. I went with 3 on the rear as I have stable loads when at rest are in contact with the helper spring.

Max Rear Tire Size On OEM Rims

I am sure the answer is somewhere on the forum, but a quick search did not reveal much.
What is the max tire size we can run on the rear without a rubbing issue?
Thanks,
Skip
