...He also mentioned he has done enough of these turbos that he can do them in his sleep, and all the ones he has done have all been low mileage trucks. Thankful for my warranty.
I'm happy to see that your dealership is on the ball and that you'll be back on the road again soon, dualwheels66. As always, if I can be of any assistance, I'm just a few mouse clicks away.

Good morning 'Oh Great Lady'.....
1st Tow is going to be this weekend.......
I'll have photos.........
Well I got the bad news today, I need a new turbo, goes in on Tuesday. It's been howling for a week and a half was hoping it would go away but no. I took it to the dealer today after work, he came out and said start it up and as soon as he heard the werewolf under the hood he said turbo but just to be sure he said to give it a little throttle and he heard the werewolf again and again he said turbo, then I shut it off and as the turbo spooled down so did the werewolf and now he was positive it was the turbo. He also mentioned he has done enough of these turbos that he can do them in his sleep, and all the ones he has done have all been low mileage trucks. Thankful for my warranty.
Sorry to hear it. That sucks. Heres a little piece of advice, I hope you don't mind me passing this along. The best thing to do is what I do, just keep turning up your radio. It works great for me. Then I let someone borrow my truck for a little while and when they return I blame them, lol. Of course I am the "good guy" and don't accept any money for the work. Hope this was helpful, good luck.
I hope you didn't mind the levity. Seriously, good luck, hope it all is fixed up quickly. Have a good Memorial Weekend.
Howdy guys! !
1st Tow with Jolly Green! !
Yippee! !!!
We are sitting in a nice comfortable 5th wheel. .....Furnace brought the temperature up to 70°. Outside temp 52°F. It has been raining all morning.
First thing I noticed was the easy and very smooth start and acceleration! !
Much better than the 2011 F350 SRW I had. 65 mph on a short run of interstate and then 65 on 2 lane roads. Up and down and windy roads.
Truck drove like nothing was being towed. The exhaust brake is much better than what the earlier years had.
The airbags are great. Started with 50 psi and then went to 60 psi. The truck was level and rode on rough roads very nice. The last 4 miles was up a steep muddy / rocky trail that flattened out to a muddy trail. What a mess.
It has stopped raining. Hope it is sunny tomorrow. We are on the shore of a reservoir outside of Augusta Montana.
Congrats on the first tow Roy. Take some great pics for us!
I have been taking photos. Will post photos when we get home Monday Evening.
I forgot to mention. ........ the fuel mileage was disappointing. ........8.0 mpg........:-(
