I can get 17-18 empty
9-11 heavy towing.
I'd expect around 15-16 empty if I were you. Maybe a little more when broken in..after your first tow of a few hundred miles.
4.30 gears will not be quite as good unloaded mpgs but that thing will tow like a dream.

I have the 4.30 gears and less than 2K miles on my truck. I am getting an honest avg. of about 13 -14 mpg. I know once it's broke in I should do a little better. That's hwy and city combined. Those are real numbers with the A/C on all the time. I live near Phoenix. Congrats and good luck.

Yes it has 200K on her. Just retired from family vehicle to farm work. Taking my 93 f350 to scrap/recycle yard. Runs but not road worthy. Frame badly rusted. Among the main things wrong.
