Roy - Glad to hear that JG did the job for you.. Mileage will probably come up now that you are actually breaking the engine in. The rings don't seat until you put them under a pretty good and sustained load.

A picture of the '56 before a show and my '59 4400TD returning from a show. My Dad drove the '59 when it was new, putting over 900,000 miles on it driving from Longview, Tx to Pittsburgh, PA. When the company traded it in for new White Freightliner, the dealer kept the truck and made a wrecker out of it. It stayed at the same dealer from October '66 until I bought it in Jan '06 and started its restoration.
Truck didn't make it home, I was pulling out of the camp site to go dump the tanks and realized I had no boost, so I just unhitched and called AAA. Should have got the '15. I think this will be the last Ford truck that I buy.
I put new general grabber at2 tires on my 2014 f-450 now the truck sways real bad what are you guys using for good tow tires
I have BFG AT factory tires.....70 psi in all 4 rear tires......75 psi in the fronts......Rock solid with a Pin Weight of 4,500+ Lbs......plus 90 gal aux fuel tank in the bed, between the hitch and cab. 90 x 7 lbs = 630 Lbs.
