Our next project 2001 1500 Dodge Ram ORE 85,000 miles on it.

Not everyone gets to visit the Bat Cave!

My wife claimed the pickup. We're hoping to find a 2wd southern truck to donate the body. Some incentive to build our own garage and finish the Excursion.

My wife, Tammie, putting the doors back together.

Ava came along to help.

Tam also touched up the small spots we treated with Rust Encapsulator.

New nuts for the lower shock bolt. Tough to get. The number is superseded several times. New #N811623S439

Trying the higher temp brake fluid.

Shackles were kind of thin.

A little fun for my daily driver

My wife earned a trip to Phoenix. She found a load to New Mexico and we just went empty the rest of the way to Phoenix.

Bought a new Daytona jack. It works really good.

Angle shims installed.

Leaving the sway link off to try it as Pirate suggests.

Struggled with the bolt being seized in the bushing. The pipe on the ratchet finally won.

We got tired of being fat last August. We lost 155 lbs between the two of us. My wife is almost where she wants to be, I have more I want to lose yet.

Part #s for the boot, clamps, and u-joint

Got the front end done except the shocks. The stock length hoses are short now. If anyone needs new Wagner brake hoses......... They've never been used, just installed and the brakes bled.

Is that paint just an encapsulator or a rust convertor?

Thanks, I like the way it looks on the black truck. I think I'll put black over it on the actual axles when I get that far. What do you think?

It's an encapsulator. They make converter that you can apply first.

Nicely done! I need to go back through the entire thread from the beginning. You'll dig those procomp springs. Mine ride really well and I haven't missed my rear sway bar at all as of yet. I have not towed anything yet, but with what I'm pulling, I can't see an issue.
