Personally I think it looks much better without the grille guard. It may be because most grille gaurds I like sit higher to protect the grille more or have a set up where it wraps around the headlights.
Anyways that is the bumper I have been trying to talk my dad into getting on the 02.
If i was to leave off the grille guard it would save $375 off the price and i could just get creative and make one that locks into the Clevis mounts when i want it and then i can pull two pins and take it off myself when i want.
I would like to say i would just get the grille guard and cut it off if i don't like it but that's expensive to pay for then remove and repowdercoat afterward.
That wouldn't be to bad of an idea. I think it would be great because you could use a D-ring to hold the brush guard on and still have usage of the d-rings. I say that because I don't know about you but I use the tow hooks a lot on the 02, so d-rings would be nice.

Yeah i honestly love the look of that bumper I feel like i don't need the grille guard but if I'm gonna get it i might as well protect the front of the truck....i don't know what I'm going to do. I contacted Fusion again today and asked if the 4" rigid cu touts can be made to fit 6" lights because i already have some 6" double row led bars behind my grille and i would like to move them to the bumper. It's also $339 cheaper to get no defender guard, it seems that the have no pics except that one of the defender guard don the truck though.
I'm also keeping in mind my truck is almost identical to the one with the guard except for the bed cover and light silver paint.
I might try and weld up one i want to for the 95 at least, i dont know how to weld but my uncle has a spare welder he said i could have. I may go with no gaurd and make my own at a later date if i want. I'm still unsure what i will end up doing but i will likely buy a bumper for my 94 and make my own for the 95 just because i know the first few times i do it will turn out worse than a professionally done one lol.
I was going to get it powdercoated black to match the two tone with hopefully some 6" led bar cut outs and a 30" bar mointed on top.
