No, especially with a 97 and older because the downpipe is extremely restrictive.

hi, i have 2002 F-350 PSD with 37" xterrains, 6.5" procomp lift, open exhaust. what programmer should i buy to recal my speedo and give me more HP?thanks, Tom

I would be curious which is best for towing,The predator or the superchips programmer. I have a 2000 F350 crew cab 4x4 dually with the 7.3 powerstroke.I tow a boat across the desert with temps over 100 degrees f. The boat and trailer are aprox. 6000 lbs.

Both are good for towing. Superchips has more units sold, Diablo has more features for the same price.

Thanks for the reply webmaster,How about one more question,If I purchase one of these programmers for towing purposes will I need to purchase gauges to monitor the Exhaust gas temp?How crucial is it to monitor this after using the programmer? Thx LRB.

Hey Ken, Will The 1705 Work On The 1996 Trucks , After They Reprogram Them As Well As Be Fore And Also Where Do You Plug In On The 96 Truck Theres No Port Like The One On My 02....?

No gauges needed in tow mode of the programmer but I recommend them anyway.

The 1705 works with 1994.5 - 2003. There's a port on the driver's side under the dash.

Black somoke worse at night and cold.wet! PLease let me know if this is usual I have a new turbo and I need to know of this is usual for the superchips in med mode with stock exhaust, 4in lift and 315/75/R16s, and no load. Seems to do this when it drops a gear and gets in it (for passing).

I am currently getting 20-22 PSI of boost, how much boost increase can be achieved with the programmer?

Depends on the setting you choose, and the program your PCM has in it. Very upper 20s is not unrealistic.

The Microtuner will not impact the speedo setting one way or another. That's done by the dealer and is independent of any changes the Microtuner makes.
