You can't use the Microtuner with a chip. It reprograms the ECM itself... a chip would just override the tune in the ECM.
Yes, you'll see a big increase in boost. Most people pick up at least a couple of miles per gallon.

whats the diff between diablo and the microtuner?...and is it true they program the tranny too!...cuase with the banks chip i have she thumps pretty hard into 4rth and od on my 97 psd...does not happen as i have learned when to back off...i have a cheap tranny control module plugged in right now...i take it i will have to take it out if the tuners talked about do firm up the tranny

I have a 2001 psd w/bd power 60hp chip & a trans. pressure lock to increase trans. line pressure. I know that I need to pull out the chip, but what about the trans. pressure lock. I have the scmt installed right now on the 110hp setting. Like driving a lifted corvette on 35's!

I haven't heard back from Ken yet so I decided to unhook the pressure lock. Turns out that after I did, my overdrive light kept flashing. I put the truck back to stock & it went away. Then I reloaded the 110hp & it was again flashing. When I hooked the pressure lock back up, it quit flashing. What gives? Btw, the overdrive button still functions, but you can't tell visually which gear you are in. Any help?

I'm sorry, but I wasn't working on the forums this weekend. We all like to have time off. 
Unfortunately, this is just the way the SCMT works with some PCM codes. Nothing that can be done other then them changing the way it functions in some future version.
