Yes, you should be okay in the lowest setting though I recommend gauges for Powerstrokes, tuned or not because it tells you what's going on (combined with a boost gauge).

I received my 1705 Tri Tuner but havent installed yet. I have a question that i cant remember if u answered yet or not, but will i be able to tow in the 110 HP mode if i have a 4" exhaust and new hi flow cold air intake??? if so, what is the waight limit of the item i can tow in that mode??? Thanks.

According to Superchips there is no towing with 110HP. I can't tell you how much you can, only an EGT gauge can tell when horsepower is that high. Personally, I wouldn't use 110HP without an EGT gauge, loaded or not.

Well, i have the whole setup. Gauges and all. I guess if i end up towing in that mode, and the EGTs get too high or close to too high, then i stop and deprogram to 70 or 90. I dont think i will be towing in 110, but i was just curious if it is too much for the truck. Thanks for the reply.

I have a 1700 right now but i'm thinking of getting the new 1705. One question though, i'm about to do a lift and tires (36") on my truck. Can i reprogram the speedo with the new mircotuner, if not what other options do i have...

It seems that with the 60 hp setting my transmission makes a thud when I take off after a full stop. Does this program change anything in the transmission that would make this happen? 2002 F-350 auto transmission PSD. It seems to go away when back to stock or on the 80 hp setting.

Jeff, it has a tranny line pressure boost to help firm up the shifts. I replaced the shift valve and springs in my tranny and coupled with the line pressure boost from the SCMT the shifts are very firm ( unless loaded or accelerating hard).

Re; the gauges that are used in these 'loaded' F series, does any one have some pics of how they've installed these into the cabins? Considering it for mine and want to see how others have tackled it...

The Hypertech does not include an OBDII diagnostic code reader. It also peaks at 50HP, 20HP lower than the Microtuner's lowest setting.
