Auto or die!! thats me. i worked on waaayy too many in the late 90s and early 2000s to ever own one lol
but i will ride with ya bill and todd..and i have driven todds even.its nice just not for me.
Changed the HPOP gasket today, and still have the same leak. It doesn't seem to leak just sitting there idling, only when I take it out and drive it. I saw some oil on the front of the driver side head where the fuel return line goes in the head. Maybe the o-ring on the oil galley plug on the front of that head is leaking and it running down and out under the HPOP. IDK.....got frustrated with it and quit for the day. It won't leak idling, only when the ICP is up, so it's making it hard to find.

Have you checked the o-rings on the HPOP outlet fittings? How about the IPR? Leaks from around that area can be a pita to pinpoint. Have you driven enough to see if the turbo is leaking?
No leaks on the fitting or IPR. The oil is running from under the pump all the way up next to the front cover, and down the stair steps in the valley and pooling in the first low spot in the valley. I used an inspection mirror and looked at the bottom of the pump and IPR, and they are dry. The oil appears to be coming from all the up at the front cover. The only other place I can see any oil is toward the driver side head and up where the return line goes in the head. I only drove it 4 or 5 miles on snow covered roads again today, so no idea how it really runs.
That sucks Bill. Can that galley plug leak back like that? You can't even see it without moving crap can you? I don't remember. It's not an oil rail plug oring towards the front possibly?

The one on the front of the driver side head is the one I'm talking about. If it leaked, it could run down by where the fuel return line comes out of the head and down under the HPOP, and then run down in the valley from under the pump. I may pull the AC compressor and accessory bracket off and look at that plug. The only wet places up there are between that plug and the HPOP. I can't get my mirror in there to see the bottom of that plug. If I had a small one like dentists use, I might get it in there. I may stop somewhere and get one tomorrow while I'm out. If I don't soon get this leak fixed, I'm just gonna stuff a rag down in there and drive the SOB, and just stop and change the rag once in a while! LOL!
