I'm starting a new thread on the work I'm getting ready to do on BIG RED. I got my new kevlar/ceramic clutch yesterday, but my plans for putting the truck back together have changed. I have an oil leak that I have determined is coming from the hpop somewhere, so I'm not putting this new clutch in with it leaking oil. I'm not going to pull the hpop and fix the leak and put the same hpop back in because I plan on doing a T500 anyway. I also don't want to pull the fuel bowl and all that crap to change the hpop, then have to put that back in, just to come out soon to get the e-fuel done. I can't build the e-fuel until I get the S366 and get the mount and pipes built for it, and my stock up pipes are leaking anyway, so.........do you see where I am going with this. As much as I would love to put the trans back in the truck and drive it, I don't want to do all of this work twice, especially while the trans is already out.
So here is the game plan. I'm sending an hpop to Joey to get built into a T500, building the mount and pipes for the turbo when I get it, building the e-fuel, doing the IC, and building a trans and installing a new clutch before the truck comes back out of the shop again. Stay tuned......there will be some pics coming soon
This went from just getting your trans in and truck back on the road to a complete build! Slight, we'll say, 90* turn! I don't blame you though, I understand your explanation!
Seems like you just did a truck build not long ago..

Seems that way doesn't it...LOL! I just decided I didn't wanna do all this stuff twice. It's gonna suck not having my truck for a little while, but it's worth it in the end I think.
