I think in normal conditions it would be fine. But in a off road situation I could see it flexing and breaking the IC.

Ya know, I never thought about the frame flexing, but honestly, once that bumper is back on there, I don't think it could flex much if any. It bolts to the original bumper mounts, and there is also a piece of channel that goes up inside the frame and is bolted with two 3/4" bolts on each side. But, I think you guys are right, I'm gonna cut those back loose from the frame and make a mount that bolts to the core support. Thanks for pointing that out guys! I tell ya, I've never had one of these trucks with a perfect rust free core support before. I had to work up the nerve to start hacking on it with a cutting wheel! LOL!

The turbo should be here tomorrow Gabe. I think I'll start on the mount and pipes for that when it I get home from work!

OK, after going out and looking at my goof up, I think I have come up with a way to use what I already have there, but make it into an isolated rubber mount. It will still be bolted to lower mount on the IC, but it will be bolted through 1" thick rubber, not anything mounted solid to the frame. The reason I drilled those holes and bolted the lower mounts on the IC is because it came out of a wrecked truck and the sides of those mounts are broke off, so I didn't want it to move back against the condenser and rub on it. I think I have it figured out though.......maybe.....
