Sounds like it will be like christmas for the next couple weeks at your house Bill. Hope you heal up quick Aaron.
The turbo should be here Monday. I'm planning on building the up pipes and collector as two separate pieces, so I need to order some v-bands and flanges if I do. I'll just have to see when the turbo gets here. If I have enough money to do it right now, I'd like to do the IH water pump while I have the radiator out and the coolant drained. Just have to see on that too.
I ordered a couple of these 2" combination bends to build the up pipes for the T4. I think with using the stock up pipes for part of them, I will only need one of these combo bends, but I ordered two in case I screw it up the first go around.
hey...I have a few of those. Good deal. I have been thinking about this after we talked about the ups...what if one side came off but one side didnt. That way the whole y looking part battle wouldnt be an issue. I think that wich ever side the head is further forward may be the side to be sectioned.
just kicking it around much more here lately.

Yeah are you two gonna get anything done this weekend or what
Nope, and nope...
We just hung out this weekend. We did put brakes on my daughter's Durango, but that was about it. I'm gonna work on getting the IC mounted today and figure out what I'm gonna need for piping and boots. I have an idea for a down pipe that I think will work. I'm going to order the 3 1/2" flange and v-band that Travis posted, and use the stock tail pipe off one of the parts trucks, which is 3 1/2", to cut up for the bends to build a 3 1/2" down pipe. I may have to make some room for it to fit, but between me building my own up pipes and having the trans out, I should be able to make any adjustments that need to be made hopefully without too much headache.
