Looks good Bill, keep at it and Big Red will be rolling before you know it.
Well, it's about down to waiting on parts now. I can be getting the fuel pump/filter mount built and get the wiring done for the e-fuel while I'm waiting though. There are a few other things I can do to.
Let me see how far it is from Durham NC to SW WV.???
With all those old spare parts, I bet I could get Ol Rattlure Stroking like the old days.
I got a tarp and a sleeping bag...I could sleep in the bed of the truck at night and scrounge during the day.
If you need any help with someone like me watching...I'll be glad to supervise your progress.. Oh..I can wash parts ..if I do not have to stand long....my ol legs give out .
I also count funny.......2 for you and one for me....
What a deal.......
Now....It looks like you are going to get Big Red back on the road and plus Bad to the bone Super Truck...You are doing a awesome job and taking pics for us to see how it is done....The best education a man can get
Dangit, I am jealous!!! (and subscribed) I want my valley to look like that so bad!! The more I look at the dirty fuel bowl and all the mess, the more I want it gone. I just need to get it in gear and tackle the E-fuel. I'll be bugging you when I do!!
Nate beat me to it!! It took me two and a half months to do mine Bill, at that rate you'll be done before I get up tomorrow, LOL Looking Good!!
Edit: Oh, I forgot, waiting on parts is a bitc!!!!
Yeah, but you had to drive 20 miles to a shop with no electricity or anything to work with! I think you did great! I just have to walk across the yard

OK Bill, here's some pics and measurements. You need/want anything else, let me know.
The base painted blue in the bottom of the valley is 1/2 inch steel. It sits right over the orings in the block, with a hole threaded in it for a fitting aimed at the oil feed hole.
The "L" bracket that you see is 1/2 inch steel also. It is 3" from front to back of the bend, and 7" high. The front of it sits right at 2 inches back from the rear of the passengers side intake plenum. It measures 3 1/2 wide on the bottom. Measures 4 1/4 wide up top. It's notched on the passengers side down 4 inches from the top with a nice "curve" cut to get it to 3 1/2". Mainly for more room. These uppipes are welded to the "L" bracket and installed as one unit.
Here is a pic of the oil feed line and another where it feeds the turbo.
Here is the oil return setup. It's 1/4" steel plate mounted where the fuel pump was. A sleeve with an oring on it to go into the block is welded on the bottom. IIRC that is fairly thick material.
Alex, no, that's Jakes kit. I probably could do it if I spent the time. There really isn't that much to it. If ya got the tools/equipment to do it. Shootin' in the dark would make it more difficult, but with these pics and measurements it should help Bill.
Bill, not a problem bud! You don't owe me anything! I'm glad to help if I can.
