You could (more $) put on a oil bypass system to filter your oil real good. I run the FS2500.

I'm somehow just now finding this new thread. Lol. I deleted this pic off the other thread and am adding it here since this is the build thread.

FYI, I've been running a newer non edge filter IPR in my truck for a few years now. I've been meaning to change it back to one with an edge filter, but it hasn't given me any problems so I haven't bothered with it.

Here's big red's new turbo.

i'm curious - what does the edge filter do? is it a physical filter around the edge of the regulator? for some reason I always imagined it as some sort of fancy electronic internal element.

and boy, that's a nice looking turbo!

No problem. It was actually a nice little drive and once I got out there we decided to crash a ricer meet and see if they had anything that would run. LOL

I'm sure your mount will turn out fine. If you need anymore ideas on how to set it up, call me.

Here's a few links for you. The turbo comes with a T4 flange gasket, oil return gasket, and a 90* fitting screwed into the oil feed. You'll probably want something different in the oil feed though. I thought I had a downpipe flange/clamp and an oil return flange on the shelf that I was going to throw in the box, but it turns out I don't... You'll need a -4 oil feed and a -10 oil return. You can step up to a -12 oil return if you want/can.

oil drain flange
T3/T4/S200/S300 Oil Drain Flange - AGP Turbochargers, Inc. Store

Would have to adapt down to a 3" downpipe if this is used.
3.5" V-Band Turbine Outlet Kit for Borg Warner S200 and S300 - AGP Turbochargers, Inc. Store

You can get these already necked down to 3".
Borg Warner S200SX, S300SX3 V-Band Kit - Boost Lab, Inc.

oil drain from the boost lab
T3 or T4 Billet oil Drain - Boost Lab, Inc.

T4 divided collector
T04 Turbo Inlet Flange (Divided Inlet) - 1/2 thick - Boost Lab, Inc.

I appreciate that Gabe, but Joey, Rick and Travis all say mine will be fine, and it's supposed to be fairly new, so I'm just gonna put new o-rings on it and put it back in.
