I got started on the T4 mount and pipes after work this evening. Got the mount tacked together and next I need to build the up pipes. The good thing is, I can use almost all of the stock up pipes to build the new ones.
Bill has talent!! Man that looks good. I'll be interested in how the collector comes together!
Thanks! The end result might look OK, but if you were actually there watching (and listening) to me work, you may not choose the word "talent"! Probably be a word more like "disturbed"

LOL! And you'd say it looked good even if it didn't! LOL!! Thanks buddy.
Thanks Mike. I tell ya, having a couple engines on stands make it soooooo much easier to mock stuff up like this. If I didn't have them, I don't think I would have even tried this. I guess a guy could pull the engine out and put it on a stand, but I'm fortunate to have these.
Iv gotta question. If I ever decide to do a s366 on mine (which will more than likely happen... someday) couldn't you move the turbo forward some and rotate it so the cool side blows directly into the manifold? Or is there a reason to keep it back some? I think this would be worth a few extra ponies since the air wouldn't have to travel as far and turn as much lol.
On my IDI, they have the turbo mounted somewhat backwards. The air coming through the intake has to make a turn that's somewhere between 90-180* lol. That's a pretty big turn
