Ya the good news is I have an alignment rack at my disposal, so i don't have to worry about paying for another.
I think I'm just going to have another parts shopping spree from that Wade guy soon - transmission seals, turbo rebuild kit, ball joints... then finally rip into it and install the studs and gaskets, oil cooler, egr delete, etc... i want the wicked wheel too...
What will you drive while the SD is out of service?
My buddy has a POS Galant Hooptie... I may take that while the truck is in his garage. Not sure yet.

Ya it's a lot better that stock, but now it needs lift. And a million other things the checkbook can't handle right now...
And I took a closer look at the boot up by the turbo, big tear and a gaping hole. Surprised it actually has any boost. I noticed the sound first (hissing under boost - sounded exactly like someone turned the dash vent full bore. Still 30PSI though. Today it wouldn't go over 20-21psi. I felt around that boot when i first noticed the sound, no visible damage. So it progressively got worse.
I need to start making a list of what needs to be done so I can formulate my plan of attack. All in one fell swoop would be the way I'd want to do it.
I'm one of those guys who likes Motorcraft unless there's an obvious advantage to aftermarket (i.e. power/economy gains).
For a boot, i see no point in aftermarket. Red is my color theme though.... Maybe I'll get them in red for the hot side...
I prefer a lot of OEM parts but when it comes to reliability the stock boots just don't hold up. Between my 7.3, 6.0, and 6.4 I have had all I can take of crappy stock boots. Stock boots are cheap, thin, polyester reinforced. Riffraff are 4 ply kevlar/nomex reinforced and are oil resistant. Not to mention I love they are 100% made in the USA.
I have been running Riffraff Diesel boots for almost 4 years now, and even at 55 psi+ on my 6.4L they are handing it when my stockers couldn't handle 35psi, lol.
The colors are an added bonus from Riffraff on a build for sure. I see they are even making Pink now
I STILL haven't painted the tailgate, and i picked up a second job (cash) doing construction (for myself). Needless to say, time's been tight. Plus I travelled to the flyover states again for work, so lost a couple weekends there.
Soon I'll be tearing into it - my buddy and I decided we're gonna go ***** deep into the truck in his garage. I can get all those things I wanted to get done, done.
Oh it's already ready... Just not as purdy as I wanted it to be. Dyno day will be stock (well, with the tune), and later I'll go back to them for some more pulls and tuning after it's all done.
