A 40 square tear-off and new roof put on, was this ole girls max. I think load usually weighed about 8,000lbs(way over limit), but she is still kicking it. (91 F-350 gas)

Finally had a chance to put a real load on the F-250 crew cab. A slide-in camper, my family, gear for a week-long camping trip and flat towing the Bronco. Probably about 12,000 lbs total driving out to the Black Hills.

I've got to say though, I liked hauling a load like this better with my '95 F-150 Super Cab in spite of a smaller engine (351 vs 460) and taller gears (3.55 vs 4.10). The cruise control on the F-150 would let it slow down on hills while the F-250 downshifts rather violently while staying nailed to the set point. I've started a thread about that though, so rather than hijack this picture thread it's probably better if discussion on that goes on in the other thread. Here's a link. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...e-control.html

My 93 is mainly used for the same thing, although most roofs we tear off have at least 2 layers of shingles. So we usually don't load it with more then 15 square.

Just a little light towing. 17,140 lbs total. That's 4,350 for the trailer, 6,000+/- for the tractor and 6790+/- For my truck and all the crap in it.

From last year: About 4000 pounds of wood and tile flooring. No, the load was actually secured properly before driving off.
