Some of you guys have more cajones than me! lol I had about 3 ton in the back and some a-hole decided to pull out in front of me. Talk about butt pucker....
Anyway heres one that I got, getting some stone for the horse's run in
Did about a dozen trips that day, biggest load was about 4 ton, I was just a little bit over weight lol
I just don't think to take pics when my truck is working. This one I had to take for insurance purposes. Trailer is a 26' and goes about 7500-8000 lbs. when loaded.
Another brush load with the '96 F-250 diesel a couple of days ago:
-------------------------
My F-350 today pulling my boat, a 12 foot sail boat in the bed. I had stuff packed in the floor of my boat that I was towing. Also some scrap metal poles tied to the trailer frame, and some scrap copper and such in the truck bed under and around the boat. Not too heavy. Towing about 2100 lbs and about 1,000lbs loaded on the truck. Traveled 160 miles.
It was only about 10 degrees today and windy... Some of you guys will laugh because you deal with much colder weather, but it hardly ever gets that cold here... The truck ran cold the whole way even after I blocked half of the radiator. I wasn't getting much heat in the truck, just enough to be comfortable. 160° t-stat, and that's the temp that the engine will stay at in weather below about 40°. I need to make a good radiator block that I can easily put in and remove for various weather.
