Hi Bob - I enjoyed reading your entries about limited slip diffs. I am reasonably mechanically inclined, and understood most of it. I have the G80 (pawl version, I think) on my Chevy van and the basic [factory] limited slip on my stick shift 4dr Wrangler. I have had good luck with limited slip axles.

Next Monday I take delivery of my new 2017 Transit based RV (3.7L 6spd Selectshift, 9.75" 4.10 open diff). I have considering spending the money to add the eLocker, but it looks like the aftermarket is not making that yet, and the only place might be a boneyard with an FX4. My question is this: (1000 CHAR LIMIT, SEE NEXT NOTE)

"I'm not a tree hugger, but I do like to breathe, and with our "ridiculous" emissions laws we have much better air to breathe than a lot of other countries. So I can't really get on board with most of your reasons." ...

this doesn't get said often enough ... not by a long shot. thank you.
