Some beautiful shots Bobby. I know I could never do a 500 mi trip. I'm just happy to be able to keep it local. And that sometimes right now is a challenge . Had a fluke the other week end and it was hard starting. Chasing some gremlins. Last week end it was perfect. Go figure
Jim,
Thanks
The pics were taken on Highway 550 between Albuquerque and Aztec, New Mexico. The first picture was taken on the way up, somewhere about halfway between San Ysidro and Cuba. The rest of the shots were taken on the way home. The 2nd and 3rd shots were taken on the way home in the Lybrook area, the 4th shot was again taken on the way home just NW of San Ysidro.
Its a great drive. I had a few glitches in my truck also. I only have an electric fuel pump and it was starving out on long hills. My starter also gave out and I had to whack it with a hammer a few times to get it to spin. I ordered a new Carter rotary vane pump last night and I'll replace the starter once I get the pump installed. Its always something
It's a beautiful day in the Northwoods, and I was out for a little drive around my neighborhood. The picture was taken on the little dead end road where I live. As you can see, my truck doesn't have a hood. There isn't a windshield either. My truck, sadly, is somewhat disassembled for painting.
