I think that is beautiful country but don't you have to go 400 miles in MT just to get a cold refreshment?

Went to Maple Grove today for a Nostalgia race. They have a Geezers class - you have to be at least 55. It wasn't running quite right but I managed to win my 1st round. We were in the staging lanes for round 2 when the rains came. End of day. Dennis

Way to go Dennis! Good old Maple Grove Dragway.

Nice 55 Chevy Handyman wagon in front of you, and an old Cuda, but what is directly in front of you? And did that minivan run?

Abe, the car in front was a front engine dragster. They have covers over the tires so they don't get too hot. The mini van dialed in at 18.70. He won his 1st round. I think this picture was from time trials. Dennis

You have to be real secure in your masculinity to enter a minivan in a drag race!

Congrats on your victory! What did you turn?

1st pass was an 18.63 @ 73.27. Running poorly so I put new plugs in. We only got 1 time run so I didn't know what to dial in at. I picked 17.45. I ran a 17.73 @ 75.56. I had a better reaction time and won my 1st round. I need to give the truck a tune up again, it's been a couple of years. My best time has been a 16.88 @ 81 mph. Dennis

This picture was through the side window. You can see the I pad in the mirror. The balloon was descending. Dennis

Here is a picture from my drive yesterday. It was a short drive, but it was nice to get out.
I can't wait for my seat to be done. The ride will be so much more comfortable.
