James I think you and me passed each other about 4 times between Hillsborough and exit 312.
Yeah. I thought that was you. We made pretty good time heading back.

So April will be Bob's last chance (at least for a little while) to catch the monthly dinner. A cookout was suggested in his honor.

I won't be able to make the 1st, 8th, 15th, or 29th. That leaves the 22nd for me. But, I would prefer the group to get together on any date that works for most and not try to deal around my schedule.

Or we can keep it during the week at a restaurant and let Bob choose the location. And save the cookout for the spring/summer fling when we are able to put that together.

Decisions, decisions.

Whatever y'all want to do is fine with me. I'm not wanting any big shindig, and I picked the Hillsborough place.

I say we do a big shindig and make Bob choose the place! We especially should go to a place that does that really annoying group singing and brings a ridiculous sparkling cupcake and a funny hat when it's someone's birthday and tell them it's Bob's birthday. You know, something he'll never forget.

You know I'm just messing with you Bob. I hope I can make this one despite going to Florida for my boys spring break.

Let's pick a hippy-ish fru-fru place with undersize portions, oversize prices, and snooty names for regular food (like grilled cheese would be "fresh gruyiere, melted in a brioche bun").

My Saturdays in April are, April 1, April 8, April 22, and April 29. I am only free on the 15th. I am booked up almost every weekend in April AND May. Weekdays I am generally good to go.

Looks like for Bob's going away supper a weekday evening is best.

We'll make sure it's a fantastic crazy big dinner with fancy names, big prices, and tiny portions. I like Matt's idea to call ahead and make sure they know it's Bob's birthday/going way day so they can prepare the cupcake and get their voices ready to sing loudly.

Don't forget to ask if they have a 'tray' on the menu!

Weekday evening dates? 17,19,20,24,25,26th? I can't make next week at all. But if next week works best for most then please go forward.

Places? I think Bob should pick. Even though he picked last month's.

Suggestions if he doesn't pick? Bad Daddies? Somewhere further south for Matt?

Let's see if Matt can make one on the 24, 25, 26 since that will be after his trip. As for a place that's further south for Matt to be able to join, and one I think Bob will like how about Chuck wagon in Carthage. Not sure how their BBQ is, but I could sure kill a couple of their Hot Dogs.
