My truck was made in Canada, it sucks to work on the underside of that thing because a bolt can be metric and right next to it, it will be US lol. I'm technically the 4th owner of my truck, legally the 3rd. The guy I bought it from got the truck from a relative with a title signed "GIFT" and he just gave it to us like that. No sales tax for me! lol.

I did some name searching to verify they were related and not stolen haha.

Well I thought most ford trucks/vehicles were metric to begin with? Atleast the older ones. It even says on the bottom of my tranny pan says "METRIC" im guessing cause the bolts are all metric? lol

Looks just like this

The only other Ford I've worked on other than my truck has all US parts, well makes since because it's 48 years old lol. My C6 doesn't say a dang thing on the pan lol.

GS might know. My pan doesn't say anything either. Also i don't know how many of my bolts are metric or us. So many have been replaced. I don't really know much of the history from mine. I know it came our of Dearborn Michigan though, the PO didn't know a lot of it's history. I don't even know which previous owner put the 2.73's in the rear end. He never told me thats what was in there.

The only thing I like about my 17 digit VIN is that I can track how many PO's my truck's had, the emissions history (failed once). That's about it lol.

Posted a real long story here. I don't really want to repost it so it can be seen on that thread. Let's just say it was a long night.

I'm sure it did, i don't have dash lights currently so i didn't really look but the only thing i got out of the whole situation is a hand shake from the owner of the RV. Oh well, i guess i also learned a lesson. Don't just hand out free work.

On a brighter note though, when i was leaving to head back to the gas station i got at least one tire to spin and make a nice squealing sound Looks like the new drive line bolts are working fine.
