[QUOTE=TreySpooner65;10821650]Hey guys, made it back safe and sound.. Just a small conical of my trip
Can you identify this motor??
Don't know if you got this covered yet, but it looks like a Detroit Diesel Series 60 to me.

I know it could be ANY thing, but that tube caught my eye.
Its got a small oil filter thought, thats the red thing.
The small red thing at the front center is a coolant filter. There are 2 more red things under the turbo, those are the oil filters, both about a foot long and 5 inches wide.
Happy Monday Guys!
Hope this week starts out quickly, because I can hardly wait till Street Vibrations 2011!
Anyone coming to the Reno/Virginia City Street Vibrations Sept. 21- 25?
I believe the Virginia City titty parade is Saturday. Come on out & earn some beads! I'll be there checking it out...real or fake? Hmm!
Hope to see you there.

Did see a couple other interesting events on Friday that I would check out if I were to go:
12:30 pm: Globe of Death Stunt show in downtown Reno
I have no idea what the "Globe Of Death" is, but I figure it's worth a look at least once.
8 pm: Wet T-shirt contest at the Sands Regency in downtown Reno. Top prize = $250
I doknow what that is, and I figure it's worth a look at least once
I'll try to remember the camera (or should I say...to take pictures)
If you look at Saturdays schedule, Virginia City venders, etc. from 8am - 7pm. That's the same day that the girls earn their beads! I think it starts around 11am - ? It tends to get really packed around then. Gee, I wonder why?
I guess I should've looked at the schedule myself. The Globe of Death I believe is a large enclosed metal globe that a motorcyclist performs in.
As for the Wet T-shirt contest...Hell yah!!! Why didn't I see this sooner?
Ofcourse, knowing my luck, I'll be fast asleep by 8 pm. LOL!
There's also something going on at Carson City Harley Davidson this weekend too! I think they'll have bands, poker runs, show-n-shine & other events like they had last year.
Let me know if you come up...
Gonna finally get that pesky CEL turned off. I turn it off once a week or so, just so I can make sure no new codes popped up, but it comes on as soon as I start the truck back up.
I have a couple boxes showing up this week. I picked up a new conversion cylinder for my Ruger Old Army black powder revolvers so that I can shoot them with 45LC ammo. I also ordered my new led reverse bulbs, led cargo lamps, and HIDs for the headlamps.
Starting to do a lot more reading and research on what I want to do for a turbo/injector setup. Pretty sure I've decided on B-codes, just trying to figure out the turbo situation. Oh the joys of performance....
YEAH...it's Wednesday & the 1st day of Street Vibrations!
I guess I'll have to check out Steve's link to see what's going on today. LOL!
I'll probably end up washing hubbys 70 Ford stepside & his 88 Chevy duelly 4x4. He wants to sell them. He just doesn't have the time/money to restore the 70 right now & the 4x4 duelly would be great for winter, but he'd rather get rid of it. I'm trying to talk him into keeping it through the winter & selling it after. He says we have my 4x4 Toyota for winter & it's more economical. Ok, so he has a point...Damn it! I guess I like the big engine when the 4 barrels kick in & the loud stacks, plus the way it handles in the snow. Makes it sound beefy & I feel safer in it.
