Goodmorning all!

Today in physics the prof asked if anyone liked cars, I was one of two ppl to raise a hand. After that he said ok good because all these diagrams are boring lets go to something more exciting. The next slide was comparing the specs of the 5.4 and the 7.3 and we spent the rest of the class discussing what hp and torque meant in the real world then went on to talk about tire size on a F250 and how the torque required changes with tire size.

Unfortunately that prof was subbing for the real prof but i think i might have to change classes now

I refill with 14. Spec is 15, but I like a little less.

Does anyone know if/when we switch from Summer fuel? I noticed my MPGs have taken a turn upward lately.

There's no difference in fuel from Winter to Summer here.

I thought I heard they added "additives" in the summer for pollution. Oh well. I'm not complaining.

Maybe with gasoline, but I've never heard that it's done with #2.

Your station might be getting less BioD at this particular time. Have you switched brands, or stations? Or do you usually buy at different locations?

I like the level to be in the middle of the dipstick hatch marks, so I can see if there is any change, either + or -. Also, with 15Q it is all the way up on the dipstick bobber and hard to see an accurate level.

I've run an OIC with 13Q in the past as well, and all was fine. But I've settled on 14.

In case you didn't know, on the 7.3 and the 6.0, the difference between the hatch marks is 2 quarts.

Sean's quick update

On my 2nd week in St Louie with a weekend in-between in EC. Flying to Chicago to see mom and get through that list of fall projects - gutters, light bulbs, smoke detectors, etc. Back to CA on Sunday night. I've hit the perfect week in StL, you know there's only one per year (70's, no humidity, just like CA). Have a great WE all.
