Hahaha...I like that idea & homemade too! Hmm... could even make my own speed bump spike strips!
Thanks for the idea.
he he he now you are catching on..... Had a neighbor make the spike strip with a 14' 2"X6" he went nuts with his nail gun , and a few rolls of 16p nails he would slide it out from under his garage door, and then after they blew by, he would pull it back in with the rope that he attached to one end.... worked great until a guy on a pocket rocket ninja lost control, and went into a tree.... But hey he never sped through here again!
Call me old fashoned, but what the heck? Kids in my day couldn't make change without help; nowdays kids can't play monopoly without credit cards and a calculator bank . What's next?
In 1979 I worked at the EC Woolworths, first mopping the floor, restocking, then working my way up to 'backup cashier' (after mopping). We used old registers that worked with a crank during a power outage. Frequently, smart-aleck customers would purchase $5.79 and then give me $6.04 hoping I'd screw up the change.
Once I gave 2 dimes and 5 pennies as change instead of a quarter. Not long after I was back swabbing Icee's & popcorn off the floors.

Moving to LA may be in my future. I am applying to EMT jobs in the LA area. If I get one, I will probably be moving there. These next few months will be interesting. A lot will be changing for me... Some good some bad. I'm ready to move on with my life. Ventura is a dead end for me right now and I need room to spread my wings.
LA County has some decent cities. City of LA is a real question mark imo.
Research carefully.
Its not definite yet. But where ever I move to it would have to be 1) Near my place of work, 2) Cheap (EMTs dont make very much), 3) have a community college within reasonable distance.
As if this damned forum wasn't slow enough, now we have to wait while it downloads from Facebook/Reddit/Twitter/Plusone/Stumbleupon/ and who knows how much other crap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
