Looks like a nice place. I wouldn't worry to much about them haveing to move
our truck () as the guys owning the ones there would know there way around
an old classic I would think.
Just line them out about any thing they should know about starting and moving it.
And maybe have a sign in sheet in her to let ya know who had to move it
and when.
I think ya have found her a new home and the guys there will take as good
a care of her as they do the other gems in there.
She will be just fine Keith.
You should be so lucky to have found it.
Looks like a decent place for now. Like you, I'm not a big fan of other people moving the truck around to access their stuff, but, as arctic just pointed out. They are car guys. They are car guys who have really nice cars and probably have the appropriate amount of respect and appreciation for all the hard work that has gone into a truck like yours and will probably treat it very gently.

At least it will be out of the elements
Boby
And behind a locked door that she has never had before If I remember
right. Talk to the guys Keith. Maybe have a little get together with them
and get to know them and them know you a bit. It does make a difference to know the guys your going to be sharing with. Remember
that it could happen that our truck should get put in the back and you may have to move there classics to get her out. Lord God I am so glad
it aint me as I may have a hard time just pulling some of them out to
get to my truck. That Vette, the 58 and the panel would be hard to stop once out of the shop.
Ya I had a problem as a younin with joy riding.
I mean all these way cool muscle cars I could hot wire in less than a flat minute.
How the hell else could I ever enjoy the ride. An AC Cobra, An AMC Javelin. Oh man the most awesome Hemi Cuda.
And a few others I can't say here as I wasn't caught in them. Was only caught cuz I didn't want to hurt the car.
I was between 14 and 17 years old so what. Was fun and I never hurt any car. Can't say that for there tires.
Thanks Guys! Its just the man and his grown son who have access to the place and I believe they don't do much during the week. Believe it or not they own a paint-n-body shop in north Miami so if it somehow gets damaged I'm sure they will fix it right. Its definitely in a safer place and I was always worried about a hurricane hitting my area. The old barn would not be a great place to keep it although it made it through hurricane Wilma OK in 2005.
They seem to be nice people and are very trusting of me and we just met. I know where all the keys to the vehicles are hidden. I would love to take the 65 Vette for a spin .
Like I said, I will still keep looking for an alternate place. Its nice to have the pressure off for sure. I forgot to mention its 13 miles from the house which is only 5 more than the barn.
I can't imagine you finding anything any better very soon. Unless the cost is a factor. The other guys sound great and the shop is ideal with climate control and locks and like that. And it's also clean. Heck tell them you will sweep and mop once a week for rent. Aint that big a job.
It looks like a nice place and you have good company.
Although, you might have a problem when those owners see your truck. I'm sure they will all insist on you giving them a ride and ask if they can run the siren.
I'm sure your truck will get the respect is deserves. I would still be worried about someone else moving it, but they will do so with extra care. Maybe those guys will place orders for your book.
Yes Rich, the place is very clean. It will be nice to use a bathroom for a change instead of behind a barn . The rent is $250 which is what the monthly maintenance fee is. Not a bad price but doubled what I was paying.
Joe, the owners have already seen the truck. I met them at a car show. The owners grandson is around 10 so I'll be glad to give him a ride! Maybe I should get the speedometer fixed and keep track of the mileage? I really don't think they will mess with the truck.
She looks so very happy among all them pretty girls. Except maybe the Cooper.
So how many book orders do ya need before ya can go to print Keith?
Ya have got to be getting close.
Good to see her in her new home.
What is that panel doing so far south? Osage Beach, MO is about 45 minutes from me. I had to go to their website and couldn't find any mention of the Lake of the Ozarks location. Maybe it closed down and they went South.
Hopefully more book orders will be coming in soon.
Keith , am glad ( as I am sure you are ) that your truck is in a safe / secure building protected from the elements . Way more protected if a storm ( the H word ) should cross your area . Have the stock truck in a secured gated community parking garage . Only drawback is no work can be done on it there . My best friend of 38 yrs. lives less than a mile away so tow it over to his house to work on it .That will end after TruckStock '14 as all the primary elec. items have arrived & will be able to drive it under it's own power . Good luck to you .
Your truck sure dwarfs everything else in there. That guy needs to get some of those lifts that you can drive under, he definitely has the ceiling height.
I am now praying for your Dad Keith. Damn "If it weren't for bad luck you
would have no luck at all." Now tell me what TV show song did that come from.
