@ Ross - I sold the 272 but i still have the 3 speed and the rest of the running gear. Just sold the engine. It ended up being a 272 not a 292. More pictures to come soon.
Should I weld and smooth the existing firewall or buy/fabricate a new smooth one. I like the original feel of the stock firewall but want to make this build as clean as possible. Are there any aftermarket firewalls for the 55 f100? Feelings?
Yo snook, I got your pm earlier and I see all the cool pictures you posted. Looks awesome. I love that No Limit kit. I have just finished welding in my x-member and boxing plates. One more go around of grinding and I will be welding in the the lower control arm support brackets. I'll post some updates after that. Thus far the build has been great and even though the drawing were not the best I had no issues with them at all and as a matter of fact I like the drawings, lol.
As far as the firewall goes. There is a thread on here that talks about a new firewall that you can order and goes on without welding and looks real clean. I will see if I can find the link for you. I am debating my options now, obviously this is a good time to tackle the firewall for me.
SVT. ... Thanks for the post. I will look at them this afternoon. The 4 inch setback for our trucks looks real nice. I would still have it welded in but for the time it would take I dont think its a bad deal.
Keep up the good work and keep posting pics!!! I get my No Limit 4-Link in about two weeks or so and I am amped! Can't wait, and these pics are getting me stoked.
Looks great Snook. You are really moving on that thing... I am at the same point with front but have not even touched the back at all. Keep the progress coming... Looking awesome.
