I really enjoy my EZ DOWN. It's especially nice when I have the 5er hooked up and I need to lower the tailgate. I don't have much room between the gate and the 5er when the gate is down. It's nice to just reach in there and unlatch it and back out of the way and let it lower itself. My buddy saw mine in action two weekends ago up in the mtns, and now wants one.
Please put me on the leaderboad for 7.1 - Seconds. You should have seen the look on my wife's face when I showed her what I was so excited about with my new EZ down install complete. I don't know why...but I love this new upgrade. Thanks to everyone for all the information on this thread. Its nice to walk into the auto parts store and tell the idiot behide the counter what part number you need. Then he says" Sir...you need two of these for them to work on your tailgate"....Yeah, "Thanks for the advise idiot, just ring me up for one!"
Nice Deer, now that you did the deed and posted the picture you must send everyone that has posted in this thread a link of sausage!!
After reading 9 pages of this this thread I went to my local O'reileys and bought the SG304901EZ and it was on sale for 19.99 so I bought one and will do the install this weekend and post up my lowering time and extend this thread even more!

I tried the 901 on mine, but it didn't work. For some reason, the part interfered with the closing of the tail gate. Hopefully this new one will work.
