Well I have not been able to drop my truck off at the dealer until yesterday afternoon. I just got back from my first long drive with it and had crappy mileage... I am thinking that this may have to do with my transmission problems. So hopefully the flash fixes all of my issues! I will see if I can find out all of the information as far as what version they update it to and post all of the info and results for you guys...
Country cars, hope the new Dodge works out for you. Shame the Ford didn't, but hey, you have to do what you have to do some times...if the 6.2 wasn't your cup of tea, so be it. At least you didn't buy a toyota lol.
Well I got my truck back and the re-flash seems to have solved the problem!!! I have been trying to duplicate the problem and have not been able to replicate it at all... I asked what they reflashed the truck to but the service writer forgot to ask the tech... I am hoping that this resolves all of my issues and I can get back to loving my new truck! Now I just need to learn to not be such a lead foot so that I can save a little gas! Next on the list now is the head rest DVD players, and a programmer...
HA HA!!! Just kidding!!! I am so mad I can barely type... It seems the reflash just covered the problem until I drove my truck for a couple days! It reared its ugly head again today! So back to the dealer... Hey some of you guys mentioned that with the reflash the gear indicator on the dash stays on all of the time now, mine doesn't?
Hi everyone been a long time since I have been on.
My 11 250 has about 3600 miles. This morning we had a bit of ice and such so I put it in 4x4 hi. I made a normal right hand turn and the whole truck started shaking and the steering wheel pulled almost like the front wheels were slipping. I was running late for work, so I just parked and went inside. On the way home I put it in 4x4 hi again. This time I did a shalow circular turn to the right. Same thing, felt like the front wheels were slipping and I noticed that the little wrench flashed a few times. Thoughts? Should I take it in to the dealer? We pick up our new 5ver next Saturday so I need to feel confident this thing will run as expected. Thanks in advance for your comments.

Convert
Sounds like you were on pavement that allowed a lot of traction. Have you had a true 4WD vehicle before? It'll nearly rip the wheel out of your hands if you're in 4WD on dry stuff and try to turn.
Convert.. If you wanna meet we can test your crow-hop against mine - See if there is something different...
I've used mine in mud, offroad dry but hills & snow (last week) mine seem to work fine.. Works like my 2001 which was my first AT/ESOF & similar to my '78, 90, & 97... All manual....
Well mine is going back to the dealer, same problems... Flairs, jumps gears, poor mileage... Here is a crappy video I made to try and show the service writer and tech what I am talking about... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pGRms39bVsM

I saw your post regarding your mileage in another thread. I'm getting about the same, avg'ing about 9.5-10 around town (1500miles on the truck currently). Being light on the throttle doesn't seem to help much but it does help some. The highway jaunts help that number too.
The winter blend of gas is what I blame the crappy mileage on. I expect it to increase when we're done with that garbage. I'm usually idling about 20-30mins or so a day, so I know that's affecting my mileage as well.
I haven't experienced what you posted in the video.
