4000 miles on it have not experienced any of those symptoms. We have not been easy on it either. Honestly my opinion its tied to the diesel engine/trans software / programming. Again my opinion.

I'm starting to also believe that is tied into the diesel software and programming.
Mine is working great also. Just under 2000 miles, and most of that either pulling a travel trailer or utility trailer. This is my daily driver, and I've pushed the truck a bit to see what it can do.
Mine is one month old and has 5,000 miles on it (it had 30 miles when I got it). I have not had that issue but I start mine 10 minutes before I get in it (remote start). I have noticed that the shift from 1st to second is a little rough and sometimes when I come to a slow turn it doesnt know quite which gear it should be in so it drops to first (which is pretty low and jerky).
Other than that the truck is very nice. I am not getting very good fuel economy though. Most of my miles are freeway empty.

My concern with the tranny/6.2 combo is with downshifts on hills. I usually have a 8 1/2 x 16 cargo trailer hooked up and I'm finding that the transmission just slams down into 2nd from 5th or 6th when we hit a hill at highway speed. It'll rev the engine right up to the 6000 rpm redline. All of this is with cruise control engaged...
I'm hoping to get to the end of my work season before I run it back to a dealer. Is anyone else finding this sort of behavior or is it just me?
I don't care for the way cruise control works on any auto, truck or car. Best control of trany and motor is with your brain and foot, the truck does not have eyes. I turn off cruise any time I encounter any elevation change. I have noticed more foot control needed with this 6 speed combo, and I think I am going to like it.
