first real snow today! snow tires worked perfectly. the expy just goes! no issues. love this truck

They were probably amazed to see 2 gas hogs feeding at the same trough.

 

the owner of the station eyes were lighting up watching with glee! i bet he wished everyone would show up with 2 gas hogs.



i can think of allot more fun things to spend money on other then fuel.

 

Darn that looked like it use to be a nice ranger. Oh well.

Color matched to the exterior looks good but you're going to be driving the Excursion for a while when you start on the rest of the dash. Lots of work ahead for you but it will look choice when it's done.

 

i dont plan on going too crazy, i should be able to get it all done in a weekend when i get around to it.


tonight i added this years round of rear lighting. last year i had a set of these 55w hella work lights mounted under the bumper. did not like that location. this time i mounted them to the rear roof rack cross bar with a quick disconnect so i can remove it quick/easy. wired it to a switch next to the console. used a 30A relay that is ignition hot so i can leave the switch on and when i remote start the truck i have all kinds of light! i plan on putting some much slimmer LED lights up there eventually but for now these will work. they are so cheap i could not hold off.
