Ouch that van took a hit. You are lucky that your expy didn't get any damage. You should do what my dad does with our 02 F250 when my mom is driving and he isn't there. Park where there is no cars around to hit it. LOL

That front bumper of the 97-98 Expo are pretty much Bullet proof!

 

tell me about it, still running the same stock bumper that also rearended a undercover cop expedition. still looks good! the top pad needs to be repainted otherwise its ok.

 

expy needs a good bath. i've just been pressure washing the mud off it the last 2 weeks. a good detail is in the plans though..she really needs it after a nasty fall and messy winter plus a very muddy spring.

very late winter storm came through, record breaking snow amounts for this late in the season. also the longest snow season we have ever had. 232 days with snow. will this winter ever end!





so i have now passed over 25,000 miles since getting the truck. spent over $9,000 in fuel. i gotta say again how much i love this truck! its always ready to go..i never have to worry about it. i'm hoping to do some custom paint/body work soon as she needs some love.

 

geez that would only be like 4000$ in fuel before our new president.

nahh, this one is staying with me till she dies. then being rebuilt lol. its such a good truck. ask's nearly nothing of me other then regular maintenance and keeps on truck'in.


did one little mod today, supporting a local company plus i like the stickers.

 

just filled her up tonight, sitting at 90,713 miles. i have said it a million times but i'll say it again. i LOVE this truck! i've had the chance to drive some very nice new fords in the last few weeks. as much as i love new truck and god i do...nothing compares to getting into my Expedition or Excursion and racking miles on them. i have not been putting a majority of miles on the expy in the last few months so it felt good to drive it again tonight.

i think ball joints will be needed either late this year or early next year. next summer will need some new summer tires. otherwise shes trucking along wonderfully!

 

installed some LED reverse light bulbs. rolled 91k miles and removed my FX4 decals.
