Why rush? It's not like you live in Alaska and get snow 250 days out of the year.

HAHA i know right, 4x4 high/low work great but the A4WD setting is so nice for the start and end of the snow season when it can be half dry half slick. i did not get a chance to mess with it this weekend.

looks like winter is here to stay though! 4-7" tonight

Move to a smaller state and your mileage won't go up so fast.

she really needs a bath! this winter has been rough but she keeps racking on the miles without issue. Gotta love a truck you just change the oil and put gas in and never gives you a lick of trouble.

However,

If your license plate is correct, with 100k now, maybe a new set of plugs?

Plate is correct, city miles, idle time and a heavy foot..but overall i'm very happy with the 11.5 mpg it gets most of the time.

I replaced all the plugs back at 70 or 75k miles with Autolite double platinum's. It had a plug blow at 62k before i bought it and that was factory plugs so i went ahead and replaced them all.

Mine's looking a bit scuzzy too - time for a bath for it as well.

well the caliper that has been slightly sticking for the last 2 years (right rear) ate through the pad, rotor and was grinding like hell. i asked the other half whos been driving it.."oh that must have started today" unhuh..

so new caliper, rotor and rear pads later its done, except i need to bleed it again as the pedal does not feel 100% right.

ran her through the car wash also...didnt do much but its a little better
