Thanks!!! Unfortunately, most couldn't make this event so your only seeing a fraction of our members. I started the riding club last year after seeing a need for these local riders to get together and enjoy their bikes.
I did it with the premise that there are NO elected club officers, NO charter or bylaws, NO dues and NO Rules. We just ride no matter what your bike is. We have a blast even if we're just on an island (no bridges).
Ya'll should come visit this part of the world. I think you might like it.
My roots are from Oregon, I would love to get back that way sometime. Sounds like a great club! Rules can really get in the way of people enjoying life!

Ahhh...then you know already. I have a sister in Sandy, OR. but have a buddy in Spring, TX. just north of Houston. My company is also a small distributor in the motorcycle industry and he owns one of the mfg. companies we distribute for. He's aching to get up here to the islands.
I also agree with your statement regarding rules....we dun need no stinkin rules. Take Care!
We needed to move a bunch of alder logs so we could build a picnic area for an upcoming family reunion. My son and nephew did the work. I got to drive. We will mill them up in the fall for ongoing projects. I was surprised that the mechanical brakes work pretty well. My son pointed out that it wasn't even on it's overloads yet....
That last picture will be my new screen background! That is a beautiful truck, much prettier than a show truck!
What's a 'show truck'?....... Oh, and now an 8BA makes it a hot rod? I'd do anything to lose that front mount dizzy, the soup can rod bearings, and get away from 21 stud heads!

Actually that engine change would make it a Gasser under the old drag race rules - Yep it's a hotrod. - Next thing ya know you'll be putting those little Dingle ***** around the windshield and Fuzzy Dice on the mirror
That Truck is so cool

That's an ISLAND TRUCK....pure...proud...and simple. A beauty to behold!
You'd have to be an islander to truly understand it.
My Work truck since 2005. She's logged over 3000 miles in a month several times.
This picture was sent to me by one of my customers.
A really great looking truck! How many miles do you have on it? That picture is dated over 6 years ago and you have been working it since 05, you must have a lot. What drivetrain are you running?
Miss Rose just got the FTE Truck Of The Week honors!!
Whoa!! Who'da thunk it?!?!

Both of my daughters with Miss Rose showing their shirts. Neither knew the other was going to wear that particular design that day.
My eldest daughter making sure the sign is on properly. It's not but why tell her?

Still don't think my '37 is a hot rod. Is my '59 f350 with a diesel swap considered a 'gasser'? I think not. THIS is a hot rod. Or is it a gasser? I bought it yesterday when a woman called me and told me she sold her house and had to have everything gone by the end of the week. Her husband died 5 years ago and she didn't know much about the 'old truck'. I remember talking to the guy who did the work in the late 90's. Thing starts, runs great, has ps and pb and came with a beautiful spare cab and tons of nos parts in boxes. Just don't ask about the mpg. Yeah, I know it's off-brand, but couldn't resist showing what a real hot rod truck is on Orcas (or San Juan) Island. Hoping to flip this thing, and keep it real with the fords.
