Took Patty Bell out after work. This is only the third time I’ve had her on the road. It’s about a 20 mile round trip to the feed store. 1400# of feed, no problems at all. Handled the load at 55mph just fine. Actually, it made for a smoother ride home. Lol
Gwen bought some wicker furniture at an auction last week. Of course it was very hot out. I hadn't taken my truck out since my electrical issues.
I think the new ignition switch as taken care of that problem. The furniture was only about 6-7 miles away, but there was a small section with construction and no shoulder. That had me worried if I broke down right at that spot.
Fortunately my truck ran smoothly and it wasn't too hot while I was moving.
Although I don't consider my truck a "working truck" or a "show qween", I would not have a problem throwing a round bail of hay in it or a load of firewood. It's gone through some changes from when I bought it back in 1983 when it wa
s all original.
