A really great looking truck! How many miles do you have on it? That picture is dated over 6 years ago and you have been working it since 05, you must have a lot. What drivetrain are you running?
Hey topmoo, sry just saw your response. I have new gauges and don't know what the mileage would be. But like you said its gotta be up there. As far as the drive-train its a 4.3l 5speed which maybe confusing to most, but its gets me 25 mpg
Here it is (ooops, you figured it out)
My grandfather drove a laundry/dry cleaners panel truck and there are pictures of him in uniform next to it, but no one can find them now...
That an awesome picture. Is Rotor Rooter the name of the company or it a franchise? Looks like that picture was taken in the West Allis area. Do you know the colors of the truck?
I wish I could find pictures of my dad with my F-2 when he was running his auto repair business in the early '70s. I've looked but our family wasn't big on taking pictures.
Bob yes Roto-Rooter is a franchise, most of them are corporate owned,we are not. I don't know what color the truck was,I'll have to ask my mom or dad if they remember. It was my moms dad that started it. Grandpa passed away when I was born in 1971,my grandma ran it with my parents almost up until she passed away about 5 years ago. That pic was taken on Wells street in Milwaukee(when it was still nice) they ran it out of there house on wells, then a small shop on Bluemound ave, then built they current shop in 1968/69 we are still at in West Allis.

That was a long time ago. After the riots in the late '60s you didn't want to be in the area. I was born in '62, I can remember when the neighborhoods in that area were nice.
