Good use of your truck Joe!

Here is what my flatbed did on Saturday. We took out mulch at our church and replaced it with 2B river stone. My truck was used to haul the mulch, which we took down about 2 inches, to the landfill.

That 51 flatbed hauling hay is neat. Some great pictures there, especially with the old John Deere baling hay in the background!

It looks like Lancaster County, PA with the tobacco, the old German style bank barn and the Amish mules in the meadow. Brings back memories.

Closest I can come to posting something in this thread for a while, too many non truck related projects going on but these f1 trailers come in quite handy. (ive got three of them.

)These rocks and concrete are left from a sewer line I had to install for another property im fixing up.

Hauling Grass

I'm hauling grass..... er, sod at least.

And this is were some of it came from

Doing a job for an older couple. The ring around that tree is 5 feet in diameter.

I have a small area under a tree in my side yard that I've had a hard time getting grass to grow. This spring I had the idea of digging it up and putting down sod. There is a sod farm near me.... Not wanting to waste good sod and being a tight Dutchman, I thought I'd just use the chunks of sod from my job. Last monday I was out there until dark and I'm only one fourth done. The soil under the tree is compacted with lots of tiny fibrous roots not to mention the big roots.... The sod is now off my truck and sitting on my walk waiting to be put in place!
