The heavy duty black vinyl seat option for pickups. Body code 681 for 64-66 pickups. Appears to be one of the rarest in the registry thread, zero recorded. Rarer than the Ranger buckets?

That's interesting. When I think back when I was at a car show in Albuquerque, maybe 15+ years ago, there was an older gentle man there that had a 65' blackonblackonblack F-100 short bed. absolutely a beautiful truck. Looked like it just came from the factory. All he correct #s and decals - little warn out but in good shape. Nice guy, said it was all factory, just the way he ordered it. I Didn't really know much about possible options back than but also had no feeling from him that he would have lied. Had his wife of 70 some years there and said she went with him when it finally came in. I guess back then you could order it the way you wanted. Sure was a fine looking truck. I think the guys were calling he moose or mongoose or something like that.
Think the only thing that wasn't factory, was the Gragar wheels...

I'm trying to find out more info on the 64 sport option. Does anyone know how many were built? I for sure have a real one all original and rough. Trying to find out how rare it is to decide if I should restore it. Thanks a lot

Post some pictures of it. Take a picture of the VIN tag on door All the information can be decoded.

Data plate is as follows VIN f10ck494xxx, w.b. 128, color jm, model f100, body e81, trans a, axle 12, hp 135, Dso 650173. I will try to get pictures figured out soon. It's completely unrestored and original. Red and white with red interior. Does have the carpet, gas tank vinyl curtain, buckets, console, headliner, zipper pocket in door. All original to this truck.

Could we see some pictures? Here is how.

But I got ta say becoming a supporter is the fastest and easiest way to post pics right from
your whatever pad/cell thing or home computer.
Few of us look in the users Gallery or album as you can see by your recent visitors.

It seems awkward, but whenever you "insert a picture" to one of these threads, the forum is looking for the picture somewhere on the web (which is always available) rather than from somewhere on your hard drive (which isn't always available).

Go to Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket and sign up for a free account. Then create an album for your truck. Upload any pics you want to post on FTE to that album. Have this album open on your computer when you want to post pics on FTE.

While you're making a post on FTE, select the pic you want to post from your Photobucket album. When the large version of the pic is open, right mouse click on it and select "View Image Info". The image info will be highlighted and will look something like this:
The best photos and videos | Photobucket

Copy that highlighted info (right click / copy).

When you have the spot in your post where you want the pic to be placed, select the "Insert Image" icon at the top of the post (looks like a mountain) and paste (right click / paste) the image info you copied in the highlighted box (just shows "http://" when it opens).

Your pic will be placed in the post.

Hope that helps.

Here's a tutorial Bob put together: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/67...-pictures.html Bob's link is not working. Can someone in the know tell me why?

How to upload pictures to the FTE Forums. - YouTube. Thanks Sam Rusty_Old_F250. Best we can find is that this video was done by Gundown64

You can link to an album. Here it is. Looks interesting. Some pics a bit blurred. Passenger seat, maybe clean it off and take a good pic of it. Someone will know what it came from probably.
