If one goes back to #354 and studies the brochure that Garbz posted you will see information on the '64 Bucket Trux. Part one of DST's instructions on how to order the base pickup for a XL conversion. The base for their proposed conversion was hardly base at all, re read the descrition. DST was not involved in the first part, other than at the end of the description they popped a number on possible buyers how to order the base vehicle for the conversion to XL status. Back to the number! What if DSO wasn't Distric Sales Office, rather Distric Special Order, thus DSO TTMS-0004-IAC4.
The description given under the fuzzy picture is nuts on what the four known bucket trux are. None of them are sweet and all of the trux interiors are ratty to the point of being disgusting but identical.
Ya know, the more I look at that #, I seem to remember seeing the last set somewhere. Just can't remember where. I've got a bunch of old paper work from when I first got the 65'. Came with the truck. The 'IAC4' looks familiar but isn't it usual for the 'C4' to come at the beginning of a # serious...?
If I ever get some free time, I'll look through that stuff. Hmmm, 'free time'.
I have a 1966 ford ranger with ranger emblems and bucket seats, center console, and skirt that fits behind the seat. I also has carpet. I want to know what numbers would prove that it is a factory install? Thanks!

Here are some photos of a "Loaded" Camper Special I found in a junk yard in 2002.I stripped all the Ranger stuff out even the ragged carpet.I sill wonder if the truck could still be in the woods?Na,it could not be!
Your book contains an error on page 82, ND. The Ford of Canada DSO prefixes are "A" for Mercury, "B" for Ford. Incidentally, there are other Ford of Canada DSO's also: I1 to I7. I don't know what they mean.

Hey Dave or anyone. Anything new on the XL F100's? How many are accounted for?
And beside the one you played with do ya know where any more are? Jay Leno?
Tim Taylor? Arctic Y Block when I find one?
So cool this Factory Drag truck. I wonder what other stuff Ford has done
like this.
