The rarest option mentioned here was mentioned by "Number Dummy" back on post #6; "The rarest option...of all is the PICKUP CONVERTIBLE TOP, original MSRP $140.00, illustrated on page 28 of the 1966 accessory brochure (just above the optional dash mounted tach)."
BUT, I've never, ever seen one.
I only learned of their existence from FTE's own, "Number Dummy."
I came across this info today talking about the 1964 Camper Special, Custom Camper Special and Deluxe Camper Special packages available on the F250 series. It also mentions an F100 Heavy Duty Equipment Package for that series. The engine mentioned is the 292.

Cool info about Detroit Steel Tubing. Ford had the big FE engines then, but obviously thought there was no market for this type of power in a pre '65 pickup! Probably Lee Ioicoca in charge. I spy a hydravac power brake system under the hood.

I have a 1966 F100 Ranger with a Jump Seat/console/arm rest combo obvious a dealer add on but looks factory. Appears to be a FoMoCo seat
