Bostrom Seats

Triple Frame,
Thanks for posting the Bostrom seat information. The seats in question both fold forward, the backrest is what I mean. That would mean both sides are identical Thinline Bucket Seats- Model #L 01052. Just as in the description the springs are molded into the foam. Is there anyway I could get a full sheet copy of just the page showing that?

THANKS!

It's the only pic in the truck parts catalog that shows Bostrom seats, except for the type used in P Series Parcel Delivery's.

I haven't a clue what this refers to or where you found it on the vehicle.

Bill, That is the number Garbz and Doug were throwing around for the 64 "sports Package" interior... It is used in the literature for the Xl F100. I have read through it many times and it does give that number.

Nope,

Never done it.... Making real rangers.... Me never......

Doug's truck is legit. His door data plate is not. Some guy named Marti made it up for him using his 64 vin. At the time I wound ND up I was not aware the data plate had been modified with 65 or 66 ranger data.

Doug's truck is a legitimate sport package and a really nice ahem, ranger too. Its his and he can call it what he wants.

As ND will tell everyone all it takes to make a ranger is a modicum of numbers knowledge and the skill to make it all work together. I can build one or a hundred and no one here could tell the difference or tell me that they are not real. That is what zero production records does. Might possibly be my next barn find............sell them through my shadow empire of minions.

I've looked at that page till I'm nearly cross eyed. I don't see Sport Package on there. Is there such a term in print media from Ford preferably in a magazine. That may be a term hung on the package by us or article writers at a loss for what to call it. Other than "never happened"! It happened, it happened to at least four trucks built over a time frame of several month and at least two different facilities, identified on there vin plates. IT APPEARS THESE TRUX WERE NEVER BADGED AS RANGERS, THANK HEAVENS!
Any body got that "sport package" literature?

Same reason why every Chevelle and Camaro is a SS. GM did nothing to ID those special high performance cars from the plain Jane grocery getter.

In the big picture, Im in the "who cares" club. A fake Ranger has zero impact on me.

Did I miss something. Did they actually make a 64 F-100 XL ? Has anyone seen one in person. 427 ? How cool is that.
Sorry, I just clicked on the end of this thread instead of reading through all the posts. Too many posts.

No 64 Xls were made.

Ford nixed the program.
