I got that on the driver side plug... Derrr.. cant believe I missed that one! LOL! The passenger side threw me pretty good due to the fact I have 5 different battery trays laying around, and I was trying to get all the parts lined up.. After your detail, it came together! Now I know which parts are going on, which arent. The ones going on got stripped today, waiting for them to cure then adding some sealer to them. I hate corroded battery trays!
I do have your measurements! I will get those to you! Its amazing how many requests for little things will come up when someone goes this far into a tear down!!! I am glad I got as many questions as I did.. Lots of things were made aware of I never thought to consider!
Wow thanks man. I think I have good news for my future project. it seems as if in 98 the expedition f150 and f250 used a lot of the same parts still looking in to if the frames are the same or not in that year but i know that it seems a lot of body parts as well as interior are same.
Got a little more accomplished today! I had some confusion going on with the battery trays.. I kept the one from the gasser in the same box as the diesel.. NOTE: Dont do that! LOL! Anyways, spent the day yesterday stripping and coating many of the parts. I hate corrosion!
Its getting there....
Another beautiful evening, got started on the rear gear swap along with finishing the fuel tank guard plate install. Now the Dually has the off-road package! What gets me, the rear fuel tank has the guards, while it also has the spare protecting it, LOL!
What has surprised me with the rear axle.. the axle halves came out nicely! The bolts were not warped, tweaked or broken, and this is even after all that I have done with the truck!
Are you speaking of that 95 CC dually thats getting new life? If so, we just had some poking at eachother! LOL
Rear end is all finished up today! Broke a spacer in the process, thankfully I kept the ones from the donor before it left! Gauged in perfectly! Its nice to now have both wheels turn together!
Yeah.. I caught wind of that the other night.. You and that Krisx fella got that whole mess started! LOL! I had to give it some thought.. so go check it out!
