Austin, if all goes well, I'm gonna start the disassebly this weekend. Got alot to get rid of. A/C, HVAC box on the firewall, all none essential stuff. Gotta make room for turbo, hood stack, gauges etc.

i know where there is an A/C delete pulley. guy on PSN parting out a truck and it had an idler pulley in place of the A/C. you might check it out.
Pleading ignorance hear, but is there a difference in reg cab long bed wheelbases or am i missing something about the pulling regs and chassis setup? Is the dodge rearend that much narrower?
Fuelman, The normal 2wd duallys have a 133" wheelbase. These are the only regular cab duallys that Ford put a bed on.
Ford only made a regular cab 4x4 dually as a "Cab and Chassis" and it came in two wheel base configurations. Short being 137" and long being I believe 161". Not sure on the long though.
The "Cab and Chassis" dually rear axle is narrower than a normal dually axle. It's meant for flatbeds and tow truck applications etc.
I have a normal Sterling 10.50 dually axle that is the correct width. But they are pretty much dwafed by a Dana 80 dually axle. And since the dodge lug pattern is the same, I went with it for the strength, and because I loooooove Dana axles. And I believe it's about the same width. But I'll be running spacers in between the duals cuz I like my tires hangin' outside the fender. To me, that's just cool.
You guys joke, but yes, I will start with those tires. I wanna see how the truck is gonna perform and act with all these parts. I've never built or driven a solid chassis sled truck. And I'd rather spin the tires than snap parts.

i hear you on the snapping parts, but here is your solution!!!! Cryo-Processing
Cody, you are correct. Snaping parts is never fun. I have never driven a vehicle without any suspension. Some felt like it, but they still had a little.
Most of the pullers are spinning the tires regardless how big they are.
Spinning the tires is the name of the game in sled pulling. I love when a truck comes out of the hole on a tacky track and it starts to grab about half way out, you can hear the trans starts to whine, just waiting for that big SNAP and see parts hit the ground.
that D80 is a MONSTER. guy I know has an air locker in his and we have pulled out some crazy crap. we actualy pull a semi trailer onto and latched to my semi cuz the pete was stuck and the trailer was loose.... viola truck no longer stuck.
Cody, can't wait for this truck on its way it's going to be one hell of a rig. Hopefully I can see it all done and in action when i come down there this summer. And I agree with you and Travis, things gonna look mean with the spacers and even better once you get some big meats on it.
