Something just occurred to me.

My truck seemed to run like booboo even with the loaner carb.....but I just now realized that it was possibly just because it was about out of gas.

I'm gonna go get some gas tomorrow and see what it does.....can't drive it though, the tags just went out on it last month.

lol Josh, in my day, there were computers that ran at 33MHz and had about 8MB of RAM....and it did it in the winter, up a hill, and barefoot!

don't you run out of gas allot?

When I was little I used a computer like that running Doss.
8 MB hard disc and 16 KB of ram.
It even had a 5.25" drive!

Old,old hand-me-down.

Yea. Since I parked it after the carb got jacked up, it had maybe a gallon in the tank, max. Plus whatever it has as reserves that you can't use.

I'm gonna go take my drivers test again during Thanksgiving break, so hopefully I'll be able to drive my truck once I get it running right.

20. A looooot of stuff has gone on from when I was about 15 til now, and it wasn't til earlier this year that I was able to take the test the first time. I didn't pass for a few reasons, but since then I've improved a LOT.

It drives me crazy (pun!) having my truck sit out there not getting used. It will be nice to be able to drive myself to work instead of getting picked up.

Ok, I don't know why but I thought you were in your 30s.
I never had to take the in-car test, I just took the test on paper.

Good luck with it!

@ greyghost Lol

@ Grant Naw, I'm a youngun. :P

Thanks! I wish I could take my truck on the test, but I don't think it'd be a good idea. Won't look good for me if I have to goose it at lights to pop the auto back in gear, or I send the instructor flying forward cuz my rear brakes aren't worn in yet... lol

I'm going paintballing this Saturday if everything goes as planned. It'll be my first time, so I'll have alot to learn, but then again, I play Halo, so.... lol

lol

I'm really old....I used to edit MIDI files when I was a kid. Too bad I had "unique" taste in music at the time....resulted in a lot of very interesting renditions of songs. lol

I've been getting my driver's license renewals through the mail for over 20 years. It's hard to believe it but I actually now have a TXDL picture that actually looks better that the person does in real life!
