I just got in from biking & running... it's only supposed to hit 80* here today, but the humidity out there was ridiculous. I don't know how I stayed outside all day as a kid & ran around...

It sucked yesterday too. Im not that far from ya and I know what you mean. Its only supposed to be 88 today, but the humidity will be unreal. Yesterday it got to 96 and 86% humidity. I drank almost 2 gallons of water at work!

Seattle tied the all time high record yesterday.
For it to get over 100 degrees here is very unusual.

I like the air to be so dry that the lines in my hands turn white.
I've only been in one place that will do that and that is Banff.
Humidity was about 5% or so and it felt great.

The thing about low humidity, for me, is that the temperature can fluctuate wildly and it doesn't bother me. From well below freezing to well above 100f, you can feel it, but so what?

we see 3% humidity here in phoenix during the winter...
they were just saying on the radio that this month is going in the record books as the all time hottest month in phoenix's recorded history.
15 days above 110°...but the real story is in the low temps...all near 90°
making the average daily temp 98.2°...breaking the old record set in 2006 of 97.6°

Funny you say that man, cause thats so accurate. Anything over like plus 25C and thats seriously too hot for me. At plus 28 the clothes start coming off, and I go through like 12 liters of water a day!

Unusually cool here. Not supposed to even hit 80 today I don't think. Has not hit 90 yet this month either.

Cooling off here in Oregon today!.......only gonna be 105 today!.......As soon as the big thunderstorms start forming over the Cascades as they always do after a heat wave, we are gonna have some BAD forest fires.
