morning everyone, went on craigs list found three young adults that need work, so i'm going to meet them at Mcdonalds and check them out. if they seem ok I'm going to have them pull freaking weeds all day, move rocks and get this yard work crap done and caught up so I dont have to do it any more then i'm going to hire a gardener to maintain it. Chuck is out back barking so I have to see what that is all about....
I'm trying my damnedest to keep this rig out of the crusher/shredder. Only thing wrong with it is a rotted out muffler, tach can be finnicky, and it's missing the strap to keep the passenger door from going past 90 degrees. Actually it's not even missin the strap. My brother snapped the head off one of the bolts that holds the bracket on so it just needs a new bolt.
Anyways now that the day heat is gone I'm off to mow lawns.
I've been thinking about pinkie's little problem Pete. I always wondered why people bought vehicles brand new. I mean, the $4,500 she gets for trade in on the Jeep, she'll loose the second she drives it off the lot.
Why not sell the Jeep to a thrilled teenager who'd love to have it for a couple of grand, and use that few thousand bucks as a down payment on a nearly new minivan? She'll get her new minivan, Pinkie gets a new owner, and your mom would probably end up saving money if anything.

I do that sort of already.
I do the gardening and the occational heavy work as needed, but do not even own a lawnmower.
The thought of having to mow the grass so often makes me want to and the dues that I pay the guy are well worth it IMO.
Drinking coffee myself and trying to get motivated to go get dressed and take the truck to the car wash. I think I'll go fishing this afternoon.
Gotta call Jody tomorrow. My chip, from day 1, was missing the no start tune. Jody opted to have a local shop help me reprogram that setting, and now the chip is even more *****ed up than before. Still starts in 0, won't stay running in 1(stock) and the engine stumbles when I switch from 1 to 2. Also noticed throttle hesitation in any tune. Gonna have to mail it back to Jody methinks.

I dont mind the mowing part for the back yard, have riding mower, but the front is to steep and to rocky, even using the weed eater is not bad, it just all the weeds in the beds and edges around the house, nooks and cracks in walk ways, after I mow and weedeat i'm done, if I do the front the back needs it and vice versa... never enough time or energy to complete it all.
